Yesterday, the singer, 38, performed a gospel medley off of her latest album My Savior. After finishing an acapella rendition of "Amazing Grace", Underwood transitioned into "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", in which Gospel royalty, CeCe Winans joined her on stage.
The two also sang "The Old Rugged Cross". I mean, it was definitely the duet that we all did not know that we needed. In my opinion, their voices blended harmoniously together in a perfect way!
As the young folk say, they were giving what needed to be gave -- did I say that correctly? Ha!
Not only did the ladies blow the audience in-house and viewing from afar away, they also graced the stage in style. Carrie radiated in floor length gorgeous shimmery gown and CeCe brought grace, beauty and holiness in a beautiful darker gown with floral designing. Can I just say this about CeCe; I absolutely love her consistency! She represents the Gospel community so well. This was overall a great duo, kudos to you Carrie and CeCe for taking the ACM awards to church.
